It helps enormously if you say which device and OS version you are on, which version of ENFOQ you are running (Settings → About), and what you expected to happen.
Work through these in order — the first one is the answer nine times out of ten.
Screen Time does not exist on the iOS Simulator, and Apple's Family Controls framework is unavailable on some managed or supervised devices. ENFOQ reports this as unavailable rather than as denied, because the two mean different things and only one of them is something you can fix.
Because it is the only mechanism either platform offers for noticing that a chosen application has come to the front. ENFOQ uses it for exactly that and nothing else: on Android the service is declared so the system never delivers screen content to it, and on iPhone your selection is an opaque token ENFOQ cannot even resolve for itself. The Privacy Policy sets out precisely what that means.
On iPhone, no — Apple keeps the selection opaque. On Android the list is stored only on your own device; our servers receive the number of applications you protect and never their names.
Reminders are off until you switch them on, and ENFOQ asks for notification permission at that moment. If you declined it, turn notifications on for ENFOQ in your device settings and then switch the reminder off and on again so it is rescheduled.
ENFOQ uses inexact reminders on purpose, so a reminder may arrive a few minutes after the time you set. That is the right trade for a focus reminder and it keeps ENFOQ out of a battery-draining alarm permission it does not need.
Check the spam folder first. If it still has not arrived after a few minutes, request it again from the app. Note that a password-reset link must be opened on the same device that requested it — this is a security property of how the link is issued, and a link forwarded to another phone or opened on a computer will not sign you in.
Accounts are identified by email address. If you first signed up with an email and password and later used Apple's Hide My Email, Apple gave us a different, relayed address — so it is genuinely a different account. Write to us and we will help you consolidate them.
Sign in with the same account and give it a moment to sync. History recorded on a device is never overwritten by the server, so nothing is lost by signing in; if a day still looks wrong after syncing, tell us which day and we will look.
Use Restore purchases on the subscription screen, and make sure you are signed in to ENFOQ with the same account and to the store with the same Apple Account or Google account you paid with. If ENFOQ cannot reach the network it keeps your last known status rather than treating you as unsubscribed. If it still does not appear, write to us with the date of purchase.
On iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → ENFOQ. On Android: Play Store → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions → ENFOQ. Cancelling stops the next renewal and you keep access until the period you paid for ends. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
Refunds are issued by Apple and Google under their own policies — we cannot issue one for a store purchase. Write to us anyway if something went wrong; we will point you to the right form and fix anything that was our error.
A one-time purchase, limited to the first hundred customers, that gives permanent access with no renewal. The limit is enforced on our servers. If a payment happens to complete moments after the hundredth place is taken, the purchase is honoured in full — see the Terms.
